BIO
To cut a long story short, Adelaide are 5 young gents who like to have it large!!!
Based out of South East London, the members are all well experienced, having toured with and supported the likes of Madina Lake, Bowling For Soup, You Me At Six, We Are The Ocean and Set Your Goals amongst others.
Since the bands inception in 2010, the boys have enjoyed a successful run of tours. They headlined the first Ourzone "Found" Tour, which successfully sold out as well as embarking on a successful tour of Sweden.
They have also managed to make their stamp in London; selling out the Camden Barfly, pushing the Purple Turtle to near capacity and kicking the balls out of Highburys upstairs Garage.
This year has seen Adelaide go from strength to strength; after headlining two three week tours they put together themselves, they were picked by Tom Delonge of Blink 182, Josh Franceschi of YouMeAtSix and Kerrang to open the Kerrang Introducing Stage at Slam Dunk 2011- an opportunity they relished!!
With a second EP in the works, numerous festival slots booked and a confirmed tour with Irish pop rockers Jody Has A Hitlist in Spetember, 2011 is looking good for the London quintet.
Combining chunky riffs with big sing-a-long choruses, it's live where Adelaide are at their best. With boundless energy and consistently fearless performances, theirs is a show not to be missed.
